Parenting: How to Easily Teach Your Kids Life Skills

Parenting little ones is easy if you don’t fight it. Let them help…yes…with everything. It will take longer to cook the meal. The house won’t be quite as clean. The clothes won’t be folded exactly the way you like. The bed will look like you slept on the spread.

So what? When children help you they make your life easier. Well, they try to. They do it to emulate you and to give you more time to be with them. And something else, little by little they get better at those tasks.

You will discover you have a four year old who can follow recipes if you help with the reading. Your seven year old will be able to use the dryer and fold clothes. Your kids will actually learn effortlessly how to take care of themselves.

So remember, even though it slows you down now, in the long run you’ll never regret having spent time with your very small children.

Sure, it’s overwhelming to be a mommy every moment of every day. But childhood is but a fleeting moment and once it’s passed it’s gone forever. Take the time to be with your children completely…not in body while your mind worries about the dust on the table. The table will still be there when your kids are gone.

You must be a good parent to go looking for info to grow. I don’t know about your kids but mine didn’t come with an instruction manual. NEither my husband nor I even knew how to fld a diaper when our first child was born! TSLk about learning while go along! Sure am glad you came by. Let me know if you have any questions. I just started writing parenting info here rather than spread across other sites.
